FILLING IN THE GAPS
We call the next stage in our advice process “Filling In The Gaps”. We will already have a feeling for where things stand today, our task is now to get serious and collect some detailed information, and collate and categorise that information so we can identify anything that might be missing before we commence preparation of your advice. We may also need to have some further discussion around what it is that you would like to achieve.
What do I need to do?
All we ask is that you work with us as we request the relevant information. If we do need any extra material, a member of the team will be in touch to either obtain the information from you or get your authority to ask a third party on your behalf. We recognise that this can be a little tedious, but we want to make sure that the information we have is as accurate and up to date as it can be, so that we can provide you with the best possible advice.
Tell me more?
“Filling In The Gaps” will normally take a week or so. Once all of the information is available we can commence preparation of our advice. This is not a process we like to rush, after all we are making plans for a very long time into the future, so it is important to take the time to get it right. Preparing the advice will normally take 2-3 weeks after we have all of the information, and during the process we might find that we need to clarify a few points with you.
Hmm sounds wonderful, but what will it cost me?
So let’s summarise:
- Around 4 weeks from your agreeing to proceed, we can schedule our “Showtime” meeting where we present to you our recommendations. This is the fun bit, where we will tell you what we recommend you do, and how this will impact on your future, as well as answer any questions you might have.
- Our Fee for preparation of your advice is now payable. If you would like to proceed with implementing our advice, implementation fees are detailed in the plan itself and will be discussed at our appointment.
