IT'S SHOWTIME

Strategy Advice Freedom

Why these three words are so important to us, and are fundamental to our advice process.

This is the most exciting part of the process for us. We have spent hours modelling scenarios, testing assumptions and researching alternatives before coming up with a series of recommendations which we believe will best meet your needs. Now it’s time to show you what we have done and to explain how our recommendations will work for you.

What do I need to do?

You may have already received an outline of our recommendations in the form of a Strategy Paper, so you will have an idea of the kinds of things we are going to recommend to you. All we ask for Showtime from you is an open and enquiring mind, we need you to be part of the process so please ask as many questions as you need to –  the most important question is usually “Why?”. Whilst we have brought all of our skills knowledge and expertise to bear on your situation, we need you to be happy and comfortable with what we have recommended – it is your financial future we are talking about after all. No-one knows you better than you, so if something doesn’t feel right, or you need further explanation, this is your chance.

Tell me more?

“Showtime” will normally need about an hour and a half. We promise not to take you line by line or page by page through our advice document, but we will highlight the strategies and products (if any) recommended, our reasons for making them, and how the advice will help you meet your goals. At the conclusion of the meeting, if we have answered all of your questions we will ask if you would like to proceed to implement our advice. We are so confident that our advice is right for you, that we will probably have already prepared the documentation necessary to proceed. Please feel free to take the advice away to read before making a decision, but if we have done our job of explaining it to you properly, we normally would hope to have you ready to proceed today.

Hmm sounds wonderful, but what will it cost me?

So let’s summarise:

  • Now its time to put things into place. This process can take quite a while depending on complexity. Our team really gets to work now, completing all the necessary tasks to implement our recommendations.
  • Our Fee for implementation of your advice is payable once we are done. We will agree with you in our Showtime meeting ongoing service requirements, and these will begin to be charged once implementation is complete.
